It's that time of the year again where eveyone over eats on eggs and candy and might evan go to church for the first time this year (second time will be at christmas ofcourse) all in the name of Jesus.
Do i agree with this and do i join in - as little as is humanly possible! It's not that i don't believe in something greater than myself because indeed i do but it's the fact that i refuse to be hypocritical about it and go to chuch when in fact i never usually do or celebrate because of the reason religion tells us to do so.
I have no issues at all with people who do celebrate this holiday for religious reasons, in fact i admire them for having convictions and standing by them but i'm not going to join in.

Easter for me is the start of spring, it's when the sun comes out for the first time and her beams actually warm you up and you can almost hear all the new buds breaking through and lilacs pop up along with snowdrops =) so beautiful! So whatever your reasons are for celebrating Easter i hope you have a lovely one and enjoy it together with friends and family, perhaps having that first bbq.
