Small world!

The weirdest thing happened this afternoon,i got a friend request on facebook from an older man with the same surname as myself,since my surname is very rare i immediately assumed we were distant relatives.
When i had added him a friend of mine came online and she asked me if i knew this man i had just added,i said i didn't but that he knew my dad and that my dad was probably his mom's distant cousin or something like that.
My friend doesn't have any contact with her parents and she has never told me her dad's surname,they have different ones,so it turns out that the man i just added is her father,which in turn means that myself and my friend are very distant relatives also.
It's totally insane,i'm still in chock but a good one.
Just goes to show that you never know what is gonna happen or who is gonna come in to your life!
